SOJ is providing consultant services to the City of Burien in their redevelopment of ten acres in downtown Burien. Burien Town Square, a $100 million makeover of a four-block expanse, is a mixed-use project with public and private uses. It includes a regional library, a new City Hall, retail, housing, and entertainment space, surrounding a large public space for community celebrations and events. Groundbreaking for the project was celebrated in October 2006.
SOJ also serves as Burien's Owner's Representative for the financing, design and construction of the new $25 million joint City Hall and Regional Library project.
