Kimberly Knox. Ms. Knox has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 1981. From 1982 through 1987, Ms. Knox was a planner for the City of Portland Planning Bureau providing urban design expertise on long-range planning projects. From 1987 through 1991, Ms. Knox served as a project urban designer for Lane, Frenchman and Associates in Boston, Massachusetts focusing on community redevelopment efforts in several northeastern US cities for a variety of public, private and non-profit clients. Ms. Knox worked at Tri-Met, the Portland region's transit agency, from 1991 to 2000. As Tri-Met's Land Development Manager, Ms. Knox was the agency lead for transit oriented development throughout the Portland region, serving as project manager on the Arbor Vista Condominiums and the Collins Circle Apartments as well as the construction of four park and ride facilities. Since joining SOJ in 2000, Ms. Knox has served as project manager on a number of transit-oriented development projects and the relocation, the reassembly of Frank Lloyd Wright's Gordon House at the Oregon Garden, and served as owner's agent for construction of the new 100,000 square foot Oregon Food Bank facility.
