Kay Dannen. Ms. Dannen studied Business Administration at Oregon State University and University of the Americas (Mexico City) and received a Certificate of Professional Development in Human Resources from Portland State University. Her work experience includes 15 years as co-owner, office manager, and senior account manager for a large travel agency in Portland, OR and ten years with TriMet. While at TriMet she worked as a human resources coordinator and was involved in various light rail projects, including the Banfied Light Rail Retrofit project and South/North Transit Corridor Study. Since 1998, Ms. Dannen has been employed at SOJ as the Community Relations Manager for the Portland Streetcar Project. In that capacity, she manages multiple elements of project planning, design and construction as they affect neighboring residents and businesses. She also implements the project's public involvement plan, working closely with local jurisdictions, neighborhood and business groups, and the general public to develop community construction mitigation strategies. Other Streetcar related activities include managing the Streetcar sponsorship program, signage, marketing, public relations, web page development and publications. |
