David Davies. Mr. Davies earned a Bachelors Degree in Economics and Environmental Studies from The Colorado College and both a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters in Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon. He worked for a number of years developing affordable housing in Eugene and the Willamette Valley and then returned home to Portland in 2001 to work with the Portland Development Commission (PDC). While with PDC, he worked on a variety of development projects in downtown and neighborhood Urban Renewal Areas. He was the lead project manager for the University of Oregon White Stag project, the 3rd and 4th Avenue Streetscape project in Old Town Chinatown, the McCormick Pier Walkway, and a variety of Disposition and Development Agreements. He has worked in all aspects of the development process from development feasibility studies and property acquisition to management of the design process and construction management. Mr. Davies joined SOJ in 2006.
