Bill Korsak. Mr. Korsak earned an Associates degree in Civil Engineering in 1975. He has over 30 years of civil engineering and construction management experience in various capacities from project design and construction to contract administration and project management. Mr. Korsak was employed by the City of Portland from 1975 to 1987, while employed at the City he worked on the Banfield Light Rail project and many other public works projects. Mr. Korsak joined Shiels Obletz Johnsen in 1987. He has been involved in many building and heavy civil construction projects, including construction of the Old Town Parking Garage/Heliport, construction of the Oregon Convention Center, the building of Columbia Sportswear's Distribution Center, the construction and utility coordination of the Westside Light Rail project, the construction of the Interstate Light Rail project and the construction management and utility coordination for all phases of the Portland Streetcar project. Mr. Korsak is currently working on the utility coordination, construction budget and construction scheduling of the Transit Mall Light Rail Project and the further extension of Portland Streetcar into the South Waterfront District and Eastside Portland. |
